Berwick Grammar proudly hosted the SIS Book in a Day competition in our school library last Monday. We were joined by students from both the St Francis Xavier Officer and Berwick campuses where eight of our students competed with the chance to have their novella judged by Scholastic Australia. The students were tasked with the challenge of writing a novella in just one day! They were provided with very abstract parameters with the expectation that they address all key components (even if that meant creating a story with the unlikely duo of a Chihuahua and an assassin). Our team encompassed a range of talented writers and artists from Year 8-10 and worked diligently to create an engaging dystopian story. This novella will proudly feature in our school library, well done boys and good luck during the judging process!
