For the Sake of Science
The project, “For the Sake of Science” aspires to create an ongoing podcast which increases love of science and STEM participation, by having people with experience in different scientific disciplines speak. By doing so, we hope to show that science extends beyond textbook definitions learnt at school and is relevant in many aspects of life. Moreover, this will improve knowledge of science in youth using trustworthy sources, since the people we plan to include in our podcast will be well versed in their individual STEM related fields. Ultimately, we plan to take this project further by having the podcast continue after our graduation and grow and improve into a staple scientific podcast within our school and extended community.
