As part of the School’s Master Plan, we are delighted to advise that, over the next 18 months, we will reconfigure and renovate the Elizabeth Woodyatt Centre into contemporary learning environments for the benefit of all SMBG students.
At the centre of this redevelopment is a redesign of the traditional library and the defunct computer room. While continuing to provide library resources, these areas will be transformed into reading zones, group breakout areas for collaboration, flexible studio classrooms, and study spaces that can double into one of several physical gathering spaces to foster a greater sense of connection and belonging.
The project, from an architectural perspective, is being led by WOWOWA Architects whose Founder and Creative Director is past student Monique Woodward (Class of 2003).
