At St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar we believe in providing a holistic education, delivered through our 4 As of Academics, Athleticism, Artistry and Adventure.
Our 2026 scholarship program is designed to reflect our 4 As, so that we can award talented individuals across a range of disciplines. We are delighted to announce that applications for our 2026 Scholarship opportunities for entry in 2027 and 2028 are open until Friday 24 April 2026 at 4.00 pm.
Our scholarships are highly sought after and are therefore highly competitive. They are awarded based on merit and character.

- Applications for Scholarships close at 4.00 pm on Friday 24 April 2026. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
- Only scholarship applications applied for through the School’s scholarship application form will be considered.
- Scholarship applications are open to all students attending independent, Catholic and government schools, with the exception of international students studying on a student visa 500.
- Applicants can choose up to two (2) scholarship categories in the Scholarship Application Form.
- A maximum of one (1) Scholarship may be awarded.
- Scholarships can provide up to 50% remission of annual tuition fees for the term of the Scholarship.
- Scholarship Application Fees are $200.00 for one scholarship category and $300.00 for two categories and are non-refundable.
- Scholarships are NOT available at all year levels.
- Only short-listed candidates will be asked to interview for a Scholarship.
- The scholarships, unless otherwise stated, will be held for the duration of the student’s education and are subject to biannual or annual review based on the satisfactory progress of the student.
- All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the School.
- The School reserves the right not to offer scholarships in a particular scholarship category or year level.
- The School’s decision is final.
2026 Scholarship Process/Timelines (Indicative)
The Scholarship process is competitive and takes around 8 weeks to complete. An estimated timeline is detailed below.
- Early March – scholarship applications open.
- 24 April – scholarship applications close.
- 4 May – invitations for non-Academic Scholarship Assessments/Auditions sent (Music/Dance/Art and Design/Sport).
- 9 May – academic assessments are conducted.
- 20 May – non-Academic Scholarship Auditions are conducted for Music, Dance , Sport, Art and Design and Senior College
- 28 May 2025 – 18 June 2025 – interviews are conducted.
- 23 June 2025 – offers sent to successful candidates.
