The purpose of our activities program is for pupils to experience a range of activities and develop skills beyond those in the core curriculum and sports programs.
This purpose is in line with St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar’s philosophy of providing an excellent all-round education. Hence, whilst composition varies seasonally, and with interest from staff and pupils, suitable activities diversify the pupil learning experience and cater for all standards and abilities. There is no charge for the vast majority of activities however, some may involve a fee for additional costs, to cover specialist materials or external tuition.
We offer our students a wide range of activities to promote their wellbeing and curiosity.

Developing interests and passions that can last a lifetime
It is not uncommon for pupils to develop a long-lasting interest and enthusiasm for their activities, continuing on to more advanced levels as they progress through and beyond the school. Activities, therefore, make an important contribution to the all-round education that the school provides to help students find their spark.
