Alumni Cricket Match
The BGS and Alumni Cricket Match was a great success with 41 past BGS students attending. The sun came out to ensure it was a pleasant afternoon for boys to get out in their cricket whites and continue the fierce competition between current BGS boys and our alumni – some of who were playing for the ‘Old Boys’ for the very first time.
It was also pleasing to see parents of the past students and members of the teaching staff enjoying the evening. The match was won by the current students ensuring the trophy returned to the school after a defeat in 2018. With plenty of younger boys playing for the students, keeping this trophy seems like a real possibility.
After the cricket the Alumni shared a light meal with classmates, staff and parents. We hope this will become an annual event.
