Looking to the Future – VCE Subject Selection
It has been fabulous spending time with all of the Year 10 students discussing their plans for the future and looking at their subject selections for VCE.
Throughout our meetings, Deputy Head of Teaching and Learning, Mrs Helen McDonald and myself have been impressed with the passion, individual interest and commitment that the boys have shown in researching the subjects they are considering studying and using the resources supplied to them to ensure they are meeting the necessary prerequisites for tertiary entry. It is so important that students have a balance in selecting subjects that they are interested in, as well as meeting the necessary tertiary requirements.
The underlining message to our young men has been select subjects you feel confident in, are passionate about and that really challenge you to be your best.
