National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week was celebrated at Berwick Grammar School on Friday June 1. A lunchtime interactive exhibition was set up for students and staff to explore this year’s theme don’t keep history a mystery- learn, share, grow. The exhibition included an art activity, listening to Indigenous Hip-Hop, learning to play the didgeridoo with Mr Sean Pieper and learning about important events in our shared history, such as, the Stolen Generation. Participates also recorded their thoughts about why Reconciliation matters to them.
