New Zealand Exchange Program

The School was very fortunate to host four students from Scots College in Wellington, New Zealand at the beginning of this Term. Stefanos Hills, Campbell Kidd, Chester Bodmans and Aidan Christians participated in the exchange as part of the St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School Exchange Program. Whilst here, the boys experienced the Year 9 Endeavour Program, as well as having the opportunity to participate in various other school activities, including attending the ANZAC Day Ceremony in Berwick and playing in an AFL game against visiting team St Phillips School from Alice Springs. A massive challenge for the boys was participating in the Alpine Endeavour. It was a wonderful opportunity to test their mental and physical abilities, but more importantly, bond with the rest of the boys in Year 9. Their host families also provided them with plenty of adventure by taking them to a variety of iconic Melbourne and Victorian locations, exposing the boys to the sporting, tourist, cultural, eating and social opportunities our beautiful State has to offer. Later this year their host students Miller Marks-Boulton, Connor Beck, Kyle Chipperfield and Ben Scarborough will be heading over to New Zealand to experience what life is like at Scots College.

Students in Year 8 are encouraged to apply for the Exchange program to New Zealand when applications open later in the year.
