Relay for Life
A huge thank you to everyone who supported Casey Relay For Life and our St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School team at Akoonah Park last weekend.
It was a wonderful community event that brought people of all ages together to not only raise funds for Cancer Council but enjoy time with family and friends during the 24 hour walk. The burning candles, in memory of loved ones lost to cancer and recognition of those who have overcome cancer or currently undergoing treatment, created a calm and peaceful night atmosphere as walkers continued around the track from 6.00pm Friday until 6.00 pm Saturday.
