SIS Art and Technology Exhibition

Art and Design students from Berwick Grammar School made an impressive contribution to the SIS Art and Technology Exhibition, which was held at Frankston Arts Centre from 10-18 November.

Our display occupied a highly visible space within Cube Gallery and featured works that typified Berwick Grammar’s ever-evolving approach to the creative application of manufacturing technologies.

Berwick Grammar School’s contributions focussed on works from the fields of Visual Communication Design (VCD) and Product Design and Technology (VCD). Oliver Brace’s Unit 3 and 4 PDT piece took pride of place at the centre of the display, gaining significant recognition for the exceptional joinery evident. Other unique works included a geometric coffee table by Daniel Peart (PDT), a contemporary student valet by River Dixon (VCD) and a dual-level dog bed by Nathan McDonald (VCD). Notable contributions from James Gallie and Hugo Gaulke were present in the form of cleverly engineered 3D printed prototypes.
