Tech School Program
As part of our involvement in the Tech School Program, a group of students underwent a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Challenge at the National Gallery of Victoria. The challenge asked students to consider how artists and designers use STEAM skills by putting them through a real world problem solving exercise. The girls had to deconstruct 2 laptaps, consider the challenges in pulling the computers apart and propose ways that the e waste can be reused, recycled and repurposed into new products. The girls excelled in this challenging task, demonstrating their well- developed skills in collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication.
