NEW ZEALAND EXCHANGE

Throughout April, BGS was delighted to host four boys from Scot’s College in Wellington – Chester Bodmans, Aidan Christians, Stefanos Hills and Campbell Kidd.  The boys have fully embraced life here in Australia, enjoying their week of sightseeing – including trips to Melbourne, the penguins at Phillip Island and the newly refurbished Gumbuya World – before beginning classes for three weeks of school.  All boys played an active role in their time here: Aidan showed off his AFL skills in friendly our match against St Phillip’s College from Alice Springs.  Chester spoke at our school Anzac Day Assembly and they all attended the local service in Berwick.  In their final week, they met the challenge of the Alpine Endeavour, climbing Mount Bogong and seeing parts of Australia they would not have been able to.

Our boys – Kyle Chipperfield, Ben Scarborough, Connor Beck and Miller Marks-Boulton have been tremendous hosts and look forward to their visit to New Zealand in mid-June.  Thanks to all the families involved in this wonderful process in which the boys have learned and shared so much.
